The 2019 edition of MIMS in Moscow opened yesterday. This is the main Russian show specialized in car parts and garage equipment.
Brembo's 95 m2 stand emphasized the four main families in the Aftermarket product families: the X range, which includes drilled Xtra discs, slotted Max discs and Xtra pads, standard pads equivalent to the original, the range of two-piece discs, dedicated to prestige cars and, last but not least, the hydraulic range with the new brake caliper repair kit.
The Moscow show was also a chance for Brembo to present its new official account on VKontakte, the most used social network in Russia, considered to be fundamental for communicating in the country.
Goal: to speak directly with the consumers in a country with 150 million residents, the second largest European car market after Germany, the first European country for Internet presence, and which relies on VKontakte as the social platform for communication, entertainment, information sharing and micro payments.
Russia is a very important market for Brembo Aftermarket, and the account on VKontakte will take on these issues on a large scale, as well as those in the performance area, but it will also be an all-around window into the whole Brembo world with corporate and OEM product news, photos and films.
The account on VKontakte replicates the experience of the Brembo account created in 2016 on WeChat to communicate with the Chinese public; just like VKontakte was opened today to communicate with the Russian consumer.
The new items in the stand also attracted great interest: on display in the Brembo stand was a light blue caliper branded with the VKONTAKTE logo to celebrate the launch of Brembo's profile on the Russian social network.
